The iOS App CloudWatching is useful for watching a cloud chamber which is a particle detector visualizing the passage of ionizing radiation widely used in educational sites, science museums, and research institutes. It recognizes tracks in a cloud chamber through camera or video files recorded in camera roll and classifies origin of tracks (alpha like particle or not). It also summarizes several properties of tracks such as number of tracks in unit time, length of tracks, life of tracks, direction of tracks, etc. by showing several graphs on the screen.
Some thresholds for recognition of tracks buried in background noise can be set in the setting screen.
